Stone Creek™ Bumble Bee

The Stone Creek™ Bumble Bee is a fun and highly effective terrestrial dry fly designed to imitate bees and other large insects that frequently find their way onto the water during late summer and early autumn. Its bold profile, natural coloration, and excellent visibility make it a proven attractor pattern for opportunistic trout feeding near the surface.

Terrestrial insects often become an important food source when aquatic hatches slow down, and trout rarely pass up the opportunity to feed on a struggling bee. The Bumble Bee excels along grassy banks, under overhanging vegetation, and near shoreline structure where insects commonly fall into the water.

Its buoyant design also makes it an outstanding dry-dropper indicator fly, allowing anglers to suspend nymphs below while maintaining excellent visibility and flotation.

Features:
• Effective terrestrial dry fly pattern
• Realistic bee imitation with attractor qualities
• High-visibility design for easy tracking
• Excellent buoyancy for dry-dropper rigs
• Productive during late summer and early autumn
• Effective along grassy banks and shoreline structure
• Great for aggressive surface-feeding trout

Imitates:
• Bees
• Terrestrial Insects
• Summer and Fall Attractor Insects

Available Sizes:
• #10
• #12
• #14

Fishing Tips:
Fish with a drag-free drift near grassy banks, overhanging vegetation, brush, and shoreline structure where terrestrial insects naturally fall into the water. Occasional twitches can imitate a struggling insect and trigger explosive surface strikes from opportunistic trout.

Warning: Bee's Can be Terrifying
