We have researched and found a unique method to make organic merino wool products with no elastic, no polyester, no latex, no polyadmide, and no synthetics. Merino wool is legendary for its soft, fine lightweight yarns with natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties and true warmth. We select only the finest ethical and sustainable certified organic merino wool yarns from France & Italy with the exact specifications that we need to make organic merino wool products with enough natural elasticity in the yarn that still allows for non-confining, non-compression wear for comfort throughout the day.

Care
Hand wash in lukewarm water or wash in a laundry net bag on delicate cycle (LUKEWARM water is best, not super tap cold, not warm, not hot; product may shrink or become felted at hot temperatures). Gentle biodegradable detergent only. No fabric softeners, no optical brighteners, no bleach. DO NOT put product in the dryer. Lay flat to dry (for knits) or hang to dry (for woven items). Products may retract slightly after washing. Gently stretch out to shape and steam-iron at the correct fabric settings (wool for merino, linen for hemp and linen), if desired (steam will restore fabric to the soft state in which you received them). At the workshop, we pre-wash our fabrics before cutting and sewing them. Then we steam iron each product. We do not use any wrinkle-proofing or anti-shrinkage or no-iron chemicals in any of our products as these forever chemicals (like PFOA and PFAS) are often toxic and harmful.
