- How to Remove Carpet Tape Safely: To remove carpet tape without harming floors or carpets, follow these steps: 1、Start from a corner – Gently lift a corner using your fingernail or a plastic scraper. 2、Roll, don’t pull – Slowly roll the tape back onto itself, like removing dried glue from fingers. This releases adhesive gradually and reduces stress on the floor. 3、Work gently – Too much force or pulling at a sharp angle can damage the floor finish or carpet fibers.
