The Super Sisters And Their Rare Pet Zebra is a book dedicated to my daughters, Jade, Emerey and Ivory, a testament to their bravery as we strive to raise awareness and find a cure for the rare genetic disorder known as INAD. My youngest and oldest daughters have been diagnosed with the Atypical form of INAD, referred to as ANAD (Atypical Neuroaxonal Dystrophy), a rare genetic disorder characterized by regressions, loss of vision, muscular control and mental skills, yet they continue to inspire us with their resilience. INAD stands for Infantile Neuroaxonal Dystrophy. The purpose of this book is to provide insight into my daughters' experiences as we navigate life together while combating this disease, which has significantly impacted their physical mobility. This book offers an educational experience, shedding light on the challenges of living with a rare disease. The zebra featured in the book serves as a symbol for Rare Diseases. We aim to utilize this book as a tool to raise awareness for ANAD / INAD and allocate a portion of the proceeds to support the INAD Cure Foundation's ongoing research and gene therapy trials.
